Hi,
I just made the basic system of the Eve Income Analyzer (http://eveincome.sourceforge.net/) I started writing open source.
The general project page from which you can also download the sources is
http://sourceforge.net/projects/eveincome/.
Anyone who is interested in joining that project be it for coding, writing help systems, making the user interface pretty etc. is welcome to contact me. Preferably over SourceForge where I am registered as carbon_freezer.

Hi,
I use Visual Studio 2005 Express Edition. First start Visual Studio and open the project from there. Double clicking on the solution file does not work for me neither for some odd reason. If someone has any idea why I would be interested in knowing

Yes it is on my todo list (see Source Forge Tracker List). On this weekend I have just added a time distribution view to see at which weekeday and which hour the most sales occur.

The account balance thing sounds strange for me. I will add the resizable window and the elimination of the first 0 ISK days. For the analysis the default start date is in the moment today. Are you interested in moving the start date to the first date, where a record exists?
Also someone asked me on the source forge forum, if it is possible to support more than one account with it. This would be a major structural change. Are there a lot of people intersted in this feature?

Hi,
windows are now resizable and when switching in the time distribution view behind the first sales the statistics are not afftected any more. You can either download the package from sourceforge and who had the program already anyway will get the auto-update as usual.

Hi,
some people report a bug with the account balance display, 
unfortunately this does not happen on my side. So if you have the problem please tell me as much information as possible about it (like is it permanent, did it appear suddenly, what is and what was,.....)
A lot of people are asking for the import of orders from the XML that can be saved ingame. I know this would be a nice function but I postpone it for the moment until I see the specification of the new API CCP is about to release. Because loading it from the API would be the much slicker solution.

Well give me some time,
I will chew through a couple of other features first. When this is done and there is no Api call for orders existing I will read in the last exported order set from the game and update this internally with the sales that happened since exprt time. I only requires that you export everything once you have put an order on the market.
In the moment I switch to Data Grid View and Proxy support. The proxy support is a bit delicate cause I can not really test it as I am not behind one. So once I have released it I will have to rely on you to tell me if it works.

The author is indeed German I am just living in Canada in the moment and have a pure English Windows XP. But now that the problem is found I will find a way to fix it.

Yes that is the solution,
I will replace the Double.Parse in all read commands with the culture overwrite where it comes from reading from the eve-api and will keep the local format when it comes to local storage and display. So basically it will affect 2 places. One where it is read from the wallet data and one where the local sales prices on the market transactions are read. This weekend I will prepare a release that will include this change.

Hi,
a new version has been generated. It now has a data grid view, a button to select the full data available for the character, proxy support and should have the localization issues with floating points fixed.
Could someone please confirm if the floating point issue is fixed and if the prxy support is really working as I am not sitting behind a proxy.

Hi,
The most up to date release has a real help system, the best Item Selling View as been tweaked for showing the figures also in the legend and to have the ability to walk through chunks of 9 consecutive items. The market view has been added, which is the same as the item view just for sales markets.

Hi,
My monetary plans are 2 more views and then the reading of the saved market orders with an extra view that takes the average sales speed of an market order to estimate when it runs out of stock. Then I will have to see if I close this subject and do bug fixing only or of I continue. Taken the current feature list it will take me prolly 1-2 months to implement the stuff.
